What carpet cleaning services do you need?

Steam Cleaning

Remove dirt, stains, and allergens with our steam cleaning service. What’s more, no harsh chemicals are needed. Steam cleaning is the most effective for synthetic materials like nylon, polyester, and olefin carpets but natural fibres like wool are also OK. Don’t worry about whether your carpet can handle the heat either; we’ll adjust the temperature accordingly to avoid damage and still get the deep clean you’re after.

Dry Carpet Cleaning

If you’re worried about mould, mildew, or the time it takes for your carpet to dry post-cleaning, then dry cleaning is the way to go. We deploy a variety of methods but in general, dry carpet cleaning is best suited to high-traffic areas or small stains that need spot treatment.

Carpet Cleaning FAQs

How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned?

For the average home, professional carpet cleaning is recommended every 1-2 years. Farms, lifestyle blocks, or properties in wetter climates are likely to see more dirt and debris being tracked inside and could therefore need deep cleaning more often. But it’s ultimately up to you!

What's the difference between steam cleaning and dry cleaning for carpets?

As the names suggest, dry cleaning requires little to no moisture for cleaning and instead requires cleaning compounds and solvents to penetrate fibres and remove dirt and stains. Steam cleaning uses the power of hot, pressurised steam to get deep into your carpets and get rid of residue, soilage, and deeply embedded dirt.

How long does it take for the carpet to dry after cleaning?

After your carpet is steam cleaned, you’ll need to let it dry undisturbed for anywhere between 6 and 24 hours. Even longer sometimes if you’re in an especially wet climate or in a home with poor ventilation. Using dehumidifiers will help to speed up the drying process.

Are the cleaning products used safe for pets?

Steam cleaning is our most pet friendly option as the method doesn’t use any chemicals. Dry cleaning on the other hand isn’t recommended where there are pets, or families with babies or small children who spend a lot of time on the floor. The thin residue left behind by the solutions used in dry carpet cleaning can irritate those with allergies. So, if you have any of the above, steam cleaning is a safer option.

Can all stains be removed from my carpet?

We strive to provide excellent cleaning solutions and our professional carpet cleaners will work their magic to pick the appropriate treatment for your carpet. However, we can’t always see what we’re working with, so there’s no guarantee we’ll get absolutely everything out. What we can guarantee though is that we’ll do all we can to remove those stubborn stains.

Do I need to vacuum before the carpet cleaning crew arrives?

If you’re wondering how to prepare for carpet cleaning, vacuuming dirt and debris, especially in high-traffic areas, is the essential first step. Whether we do it, or you do, is up to you! It certainly helps to speed up the process if the carpet has been given a thorough once over before we get there, but if not, no worries! We don’t take shortcuts and will make sure your carpet is properly prepared and ready to go! Leave it with us. We’ll Sort It!
